Commenced playing double bass age 14 at Royal Marines School of Music. Later studied privately for 2 years in London with Eugene Cruft. Freelanced in London (orchestras/shows etc.) for two years then fifteen years in South African National Symphony Orchestra - plus being a very busy session player. At present doing freelance orchestral and chamber music work and the occasional show. |
